William B. Gardner
William B. Gardner has practiced dentistry in Thomaston, Ga for 28 years. Bill was born in Roseboro, NC the son of a plant manager whose job involved moving a lot. He graduated from Cumberland County High School in the small town of Burkesville, Ky. Bill attended the University of Kentucky (Go Big Blue!) where he earned a BS in Biology (1980) and his dental degree in (1984).
After dental school, Bill joined the USAF and served at Maxwell AFB (Alabama) , Bitburg AFB (Germany), and Tinker AFB, (Oklahoma).
He met his wife, Lori, at The Hinman Dental Meeting. When their first child was starting school, they decided to settle down and made their home in Thomaston, Ga. Bill and Lori have a daughter, Sarah, a son, Seth, and 3 grandchildren: Norah, Nolan, and Wesley.
Dr. Gardner enjoys fishing with his grandchildren, traveling, and golfing. Bill and Lori are active members of Thomaston First Baptist Church where Bill is a deacon teaches Sunday School. He and his wife, Lori, have served on medical / dental teams to Mexico, Panama, Peru, and Zambia. Bill also volunteers with the Southern Baptist Mobile Dental Unit.
