Dr. Richman Margeson
Dr. Margeson was born and raised in Albany, and followed in his grandfather’s footsteps by becoming a 4th generation dentist. He attended Deerfield Windsor Preparatory School kindergarten through 12 grade. He was involved in many athletics and other school programs.
Receiving his BBA in marketing from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business in 1997, Dr. Margeson then attended the Medical College of Georgia (now Georgia Health Sciences University) and received his DMD in 2002. During his summers, he volunteered in multiple rural communities providing dental care to those in need. Upon graduation, Dr. Margeson worked for Turner Job Corps for a year before joining Dental Partners of Southwest Georgia.
In 2002, Dr. Margeson joined the Georgia Dental Association and is still a current member. He has been a member of the Albany Rotary Club since 2008, and is active in the community by supporting many local charities and organizations. Dr. Margeson is also active in the Dental Legislators Annual Dinners and participates in the Mallory Baptist Association's mobile dental unit each year.
Dr. Margeson is married to Banks Middleton Margeson, who is also an Albany native. Together, they have two children, Brooks and Mary. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys spending time with his friends and family.
